Friend and author, Homer Hickam had a 1pm signing at the Cool Springs Barnes & Noble that was ton of fun. He is so amazing on many levels, personally, as a scientist and as an author. It is a great opportunity to meet with him and speak with him And if you are lucky, his wonderful wife will be there as well! Most know him from Rocket Boys, the NYT Bestseller and the movie October Sky–both based on his life. At this signing he will be promoting the paperback of his new Young Adult series, Helium 3 Novels. The first in the series is Crater. Throughout he blends real science with wonderful adventure. It’s no longer available but the site at http://www.Helium3Novels.com had the video as well as interactive maps of the moon showing the locations mentioned in the novel. It was a fun project. Full disclosure, I worked with amazing creative teams to develop both with the initial launch. Enjoy!
