CS 1: RELAX Time to review the results. The
Thomas Nelson survey came in at 28 questions and was the largest done by
ePrize at the time, challenging their entire team and requiring their programmers to create some new ways to do things. The first run garnered over 5000 surveys (when the video was made) and ultimately delivered over 8000 surveys, placing us in in the upper eshelon of average response rates for any ePrize promotion despite the length and providing over 224,000 questions delineated by genre–the largest known Christian Fiction Reader database in the industry. The focus groups were all pulled off and combining the data from the survey allowed deep insight into the reader mind, insights that affected planning. The total participants (including partial surveys and registrations only) grew the email list for the division by over 400%. The results and methodology have been featured in industry magazines 5 times and have resulted in multiple conference presentations for Thomas Nelson, providing them the largest Christian Fiction Reader database in the industry.
